Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a musical family. She spent the majority of her early years listening to classical music Boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic tunes, as well older classical songs. Ana loves tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of drama. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, then began more intense singing training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. Following her move in California in United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As an active performer as well as an instructor the passion for art and music has her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana is also a past member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations continue the tradition.
